The American School of Benguerir is committed to providing an engaging and stimulating learning environment for students of all ages. Admission requirements differ based on the grade level you are applying for.
Admission Process
- Inquiry: complete and submit an initial inquiry form.
- Application: submit all required forms and schedule testing if applicable.
- Decision: receive a written decision after requirements are complete.
- Enrollment: confirm the decision and proceed with registration.
Priority of Admissions
Priority is normally given to students with siblings already enrolled at ASB before the annual deadline. After February, admission is open to other applicants who meet the requirements.
UM6P Families
Children of UM6P staff and faculty are considered in the priority process.
University Ecosystem
Children of the University ecosystem are included in priority review.
Wider Community
Children from the wider community are welcomed as spaces are available.
Age Requirements and Grade Placement
Children are placed with age peers, especially at the elementary levels. To be admitted, a child must have reached the required age by September 1. Preschool applicants from Nursery to KG2 are placed based on age.

Admissions Entrance Testing
Students applying to grades 2-12 complete MAP Growth Assessments in Reading, Mathematics, and Language Usage. Grades 9-12 also complete a writing prompt and student interview.
